All benefit enhancements are reviewed by the Actuary annually.
COLA - Each system is different and the Cities’ ability to pay the COLA is subject to actuarial certification annually before the payment can be made. Each city must submit a resolution authorizing payment.

*Jackson COLA is paid as part of the monthly benefit, not a 13th check.
